Guest guest
Dear Shankar Bharadwaj ji, Thanks for the info. I was doing the net search to identify proper CMS packages for AIA site (www.anceintindianastrology.com). Good to know that the wiki package you mentioned is already in my list. Actually we have selected and planning to use many CMS packages together for our site. Some of them are - 1) Joomula 1.5 => For General site design [it is the best CMS pack I have seen] 2) Phorum => For Group/Forum [Even MySQL people uses it] 3) Media wiki => For Wiki [it is the creation of Wikipedia people] 4) Wordpress => For Blogs (if any) [The most popluar blog software] 5) osCommerse => For ecommerse 6) an eLearning package (Yet to identify) 7) Article rating, chat, paypal integration, ense etc etc (Possibly Joomula plugins/extensions) 8) A horoscope result tool (will try to develope one)Support Tools: 6) IssueManager => For Bug Tracking 7) dotProject => For Project ManagementPlatform: LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) Just learning more about CMS; enjoying; It is an excellent field of knowledge.
