Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva Yogas

Dear Goelji,

I have met, indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Gorbachev, all the film stars, Cricketers,and many great people , but they have not met me.

I do not have a dog.

The 6th house does not only represent dogs- but other pet animals, and many other relations like Maternal uncles, loans, servants, remunerations etc. Why are you stuck up just with the dog ?

I am not yet a candidate for the assylum, I do not know about you. Though with your knowledge of this astrology, which we have seen just now, and your habitual cross postings, I feel that a space for one person can be certainly made in ranchi.

Talking about such Yogas like Brahma Yogas, and linking them to Dogs, is not in good taste. If You were on some other platform, then i could have given you the return taste for such utterances. Linking DOG DOG DOG to GOD GOD GOD and Sage Valmiki, i do not understand , what drink you had last night .

The name Pappu I gave you does not suit you, I take it back, because the real Papu does not behave like this.

Maharani Gayatri devi cannot be your client, i can vouch that. I do visit Jaipur several times in a year, and can guarantee that she may be a client for other matters like Cleaning washing etc. from the dry cleaners to people like........ but cannot be your client for Astrology.

Dear Goel-ji,

I guess, the sign of the zodiac where the yuti takes place is very

important and so are the degrees of Lagna, Jupiter and Moon in the

1st. combination you have mentioned.

However, as a respected member mentioned Jupiter creates fat in the

body as its nature is expansive and it supplies energy, planets like

Mars and Sun uses energy and planets like Mercury, Venus breaks down

or distributes that energy.

e.g. Mars people have muscular bodies and they sleep a lot.

However, for fair complexion, no doubt Moon as to be involved, but

equally important is the sign. Krishna was dark and yet he had Rohini

Moon in Lagna.

Souvikji,

I have Vishnu Yoga, if the time noted for my birth is the correct

time. I am currently in the midst of the dasa of one of the planets

contributing to the yoga. How have I experienced this yoga in my life?

Everything is relative, by best yoga could be another person's

ordinary yoga.

If I add my 2 cents, one method to determine complexion is based on

the sign occupied by the moon in D-9.

Dear Souvik ji and All,These three yogas (Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva) are culled out from the ‘300 Important Combinations’ by BV Raman.Brahma Yoga says if Jupiter and Venus are in Kendras respectively from the lords of the 9th and 11th, and Mercury is in a similar position from the lord of either Lagna or the 10th, Brahma Yoga is caused. The results given are that the person will enjoy luxurious foods, will be respected by Brahmins and learned men, will be highly learned, long-lived, charitable and always bent on doing good deeds.

Let us take sagitarius lagna. Here Venus is 11L and Mercury is 10L. How do we see this Yoga. 2/3 of it will always be in operation. When Jupiter comes in Kendra with sun, this will be complete. What is your opinion on this? Does this yoga hold good for sagis? Similarly for cancer ascendants, where Jupiter himself is 9L and venus is 11L, how do we read this yoga? Should these ascendants, by virtue of their 9/10/11 lordships already owned by these benefics be banned from participating in the yoga? Or are they inherently having part of this yoga under operation?

BV Raman himself has said, //if, say, three factors are necessary to make up a certain yoga, the presence of even one or two cannot but suggest that the yoga does operate, may be feeble.//Would like to have opinions/experiences on that.

Dear Bhagavati-ji/Neelam-ji,

In Message #18540 Bhagavathi-ji has mentioned about the exceptions

being Aries, Cancer and Virgo Asc. (as mentioned in BV Raman's notes too).

We have had few examples of Brahma Yoga, only one example of Vishnu

yoga and no example of Shiva Yoga till date in the group.

If you have some/any case that you would like to share, please do.

Dear Bhagavati ji,Yes I saw that you'd already mentioned '300 combinations'. I repeated as it had gone way down the thread and thought we could refresh it.I wanted to bring out the importance of Brahma yoga in those ascendants where these benefics are the lords of 9/10/11. They will always be in kendra to themselves, or if we do not accept that, they would never be in kendra to themselves! What happens in such cases? We could do with some opinions in such cases.

Dear Souvik ji,Have you seen Srila Prabhupad's chart? Well, its not exactly a Shiva Yoga, but close enough. Can we find a reference to this particular yoga, or its name if any, present in his chart. 5L in 9H, 9L in 9H and 10L in 9H, LL in 10H.

Dear neelamji,

Could you post the details of Srila, I came across different dates.

Well, Siva yoga says the native would be a trader, commander of the

army and also virtuous. hence it has to be very rare or may be nobody

has been born as such so far.

Just a joke- I have part of this from my moon, moon in saggitarius,

5L mars in 9th, 9L in 10th but 10L is also in 10th, I wish I could

complete the Siva yoga , if I move my mercury to the 5th

Dear Bhagavati ji,//I wish I could complete the Siva yoga , if I move my mercury to the 5th//Ha Ha! We are all in the same boat. Somewhat there, yet far...I don't know where the REAL yogas are? Too many Shivas in the Kalyug!!! May be Brahma ji ordered, but it was Chitragupt whose pen was not working!

I have stopped looking at the classic yogas, for one it is difficlut to remember, there are so many, second you hardly ever find them and even if yu find, there is no gaurantee that they would work. Times have changed and malefics do better then benefics these days.

Mercury is in kendra to LL, but if it is placed elsewhere, can it give a yoga by virtue of its kendra placement from mercury?See this case:mer, venus, sun in lagna and jup in 10H. I know some people with this combination, and it is quite common, does it make them 'BRAHMA YOGIS'? If not, why not?

There is another case, A lady born in cancer lagna. She has Jup, ven, sun

and mer in 4H and LL moon in 10H. I have not seen any yoga manifesting

in this case. She is always complaining of getting a raw deal in life?Does this yoga ever apply to these natives as for them Jup and ven as 9L/11L can never be in kendra from themselves?

Just a thought...Siva Yoga may be present in Aries Lagna natives born

between 16th December 2008 and 14th January 2009. 5HL Sun placed in

9H, 9HL Jupiter placed in 10H...but in RKA and debilitated, 10HL

Saturn placed in 5H. Similar placement of these 3 planets would have

occurred in 1949-Dec/50-Jan born Aries natives when Sun is in Saggitarius.

Considered Aries Lagna because except 5HL Sun, other 2 planets are

slow moving planets.

Dear Neelam ji,Let me attempt, though I am not sure how much sense it makes: 1. I think that should still be okay. Venus being 11L, he is in kendra - by definition we say 1/4/7/11 for kendra and we do not exclude 1. 2. Since the requirement is that the four planets in question should be in kendras to each other and not necessarily in kendra from Lagna, this should also be okay. However a few factors that make Brahma yoga not so common, AFAIK: If factor 1 is 1/2 probable and factor 2 is 1/2 probable then the probability of the yoga is 1/4. Thus more the factors, less likely the yoga. The factors that need to coincide are: 1. Four planets need to be in kendras, with no other

malefics (than Su) seeing at least three of them. 2. Though Sun needs to be in kendra. Ju, Ve, Me are the givers of the Yoga. So none of them should be in satru/neeca/astangata. With yuti, the possibility of Venus getting astangata by Sun is not very small. That is a good possibility in the example I gave (it is still okay for Su to be in neeca getting neeca bhanga as long as others are not, as in this case), though not necessary. 3. Then the 1, 9, 10 lordships should be within these four. Su, Ve, Me, Ju all are not mutually friends. So for them to be in kendras/same place, the possibility of three of them not to be in satru/neeca/astangata, and not to be seen by other malefics, and then at least two of them to be in svakshetra/ucca is not all that common. The example I gave, Su is in neeca and Ve is also not in astangatva, so the yoga is not harmed. In the example you gave, with Ve, Su and Me in lagna, is none of Ve, Me

Well Ju-Ve are enemies, Su-Ve are enemies, Me-Ju is one side enmity. If at least one of these planets goes down against its enemy either by placement or by race (which is quite likely) the yoga is defeated, right? The requirement is that none of Ju, Ve, Me can be suffering. All of them in one place makes it almost certain that one of them is doing bad I guess that is what makes the yoga not so common, though combination in kendras is common. Though I have not exhausted all the permutations on Cancer, the possibility seems quite remote. In general going by the requirement of the yoga, you cannot have more than one of 1, 9, 10, 11 houses to be not owned by the four (Su, Ju, Ve, Me) for the yoga to be possible.

In case of Cancer, 1 and 10 are not owned by any of these. (The example I gave, the ownerships are 1-Ju, 9-Su, 10-Me and 11-Ve, which is what makes it possible). There is another case, A lady born in cancer lagna. She has Jup, ven, sun

and mer in 4H and LL moon in 10H. I have not seen any yoga manifesting

in this case. She is always complaining of getting a raw deal in life?Does this yoga ever apply to these natives as for them Jup and ven as 9L/11L can never be in kendra from themselves?

I think this is too vague, let me be more specific:

1. Ve in Kendra from 11H is valid since 1 is also a kendra.

2. Yes, Me in Kendra from 10L/LL should be sufficient, irrespective of

whether 10L/LL are in 10H/Lagna.

3. But what matters more, is that Ve and Ju are in own and exaltation

respectively, and Me is not deb.

4. Deb. Su is still okay, because his presence along matter and he is

not the giver of the yoga (the givers are Ju, Me and Ve).

Dear Renuji,

This is very briliant thinking indeed. We need to check that particular

year. This type of combination would give nothing short of a powerful

and yet a virtuous person in the world. If such a person existed prior

to 90s, Shri B.V.Raman would have surely illustrated in his book.

He has two conditions out of the three for Siva yoga- 5L in 9, 9L in

10, but 10L is in 9, creating another rajayoga.

I looked up around 30-40 charts but not even in a single one did I find Shiva

Yoga.

Is this so rare a combination??

may discuss that, what will be the effects, and when will those effects

be realised. ( Before a member here says that I am looking for

predictions, please let me confirm, I am beyond asking such matters, but yes

everyone likes to hear good things about him, and I am no exception. At the
