Dear Punit Ji;

I have been trying to learn KP concepts but I get struck on things like in the present case;

I am trying to assess the education prospects/ success in education on the basis of 4H, 9H and 11H.

Can you please advise me how I can reach at the level of getting percentage in examinations? Even if I add

6H to above combination plus RP.

Still I do not have aclue about how much percentage one will get in the examination.

Please let me know your views.

Mohan ji,

I have no idea of calculating exact percentage using KP. Hope experts

in this group can help you in this regard. I have tried this in the

past and failed almost every time; so I am not able to reach to any

conclusion. But most of the time I was successful in assessing the

approximate performance.

Other than the parameters mentioned by you, I like to take the dasa

running at the time of result. I found it very useful.

The following method can be usefully tried to arrive at the percentage of marks in the examination or the percentage of votes in election and similar other queries.

1.As usual draw up the horary chart and calculate the cuspal points.

2.Take the 11th cusp and find out its sub-lord.

3.Find out the Nakshatra in which the above sub-lord is placed and how much of the star

it has crossed. If, say, it is in 4 deg.40mts of the star, then the percentage will be 4-40 divided by 13-20(total duration of the star) multiplied by 100.

4-40/13-20 x 100 280/800 x100 = 35%.

I have tried this ( learnt by me from various articles in KP & Astrology) in a number of instances with a great measure of sucess.

CALCULATIONS ARED : 9+12+2+7+0+12 = 51 POINTS. BUT

GIVES 60 PERCENT MARKS.

THERE FORE, FOR THE SAKE OF CALCULATIONS, RETROGRADE

PLANET RULE IS KEPT ASIDE, AND THE POINTS 51+21 ARE

CONSIDERED WHICH COMES 72 PERCENT MARKS.

FOR THE SAKE OF SAFETY SIDE, RETROGRADE PLANET SATURN,

WHOSE POINTS ARE 10 AND 11, CONSIDERED ONLY ONE AS 10

POINTS AND CALCULATIONS COMES

51 POINTS + SATURN 10 POINTS = 61 POINTS.

THIS WAS AN EXMPLE FROM KP THEORY BY SURESH SAHASANE,

AND THIS PREDICTION CAME TRUE.

Dear Mohan ji,

Well as Mr. Punit has said, is correct. It is almost difficult to have such an assesment.

I will suggest to go in for horary. I suggest 2 way approach: ( use any one )

a. You can ask the questionee a number between 1 to 249. suppose the questionee asks that how much percentage he / she will secure? you can ask that how much he or she is expecting ? The percentage told by them will be their desire. You can ask a horary number and devinate a chart and see that desire is fulfilled or not.

b. This second apporach is rather not much tried but I have read it in a kp book dealing with ruling planets.

The writer had asked a number ( not related to exam issue) and found the percentage to the 249, that is, suppose the quarant told the number 163. He found the % of 163 to 249 and ans the querry. You can use the same method. But Mr. Mohan this is not much tried method. As a learner we can try up.

I have used this method in past to tell a quarrant the % of money he will recover from a person,he gave loan, but unfortunatly I did not get any feedback from the person.

Dear Professor Choudhary,

Extending the same discussion, in my case my 5th lord is quite week due to

old age and debilitation

but I did my M.Tech. immidiately after my B.Tech. and it was effortless, I

cleared the national level exam(GATE)

without problems, without preparation with good score, in the first attempt

and completed my MTech with

more or less quite confortably.(with a little problem in final semester)

I took the exam in weak 5th lords sub period in 12th lord's main period and

got admission in Ketu/Ketu dasa.

What would explain that?

Dear Profesor and Rajeev,

My initial deduction was weak operating sub-periods of secondary

signifactors, in addition weak Moon and Mercury posed several hurdles.

Going back to the basics that you teach when you implicitly say that

not to just look at a chart and predict just based on strong

signifactors but more importantly to look at operating sub-periods

and transits.

I would like to point out that for natal strong planets to give their

full effect, strength of planets and houses signifying , emotions and

mental peace is very important, it is also but logical.

What if in a similar situation, it was some other planet was involved as 3rd

There are two things. The strong second house or strong planet's influence

on second house MEP works as the influence of a strong Sun. Secondly, strong

significators of professional matters - lords of tenth and/or second

house(s) containing mooltrikona signs - make acquisition of

professional/academic qualifications easy.

Dear Raguraman,

In this chart formal education is lorded by Buddha which is in pravraja

yoga in eight bhava. This is in subha yoga from Chandra and Shukra which

shows that mother help is needed to motivate. Infact Lagnesh is with Sa

and Ra which is very bad for person inteligence and selfesteem. Chandra

and Guru are in parivartana, while Guru is Vakri so badhakesh with Vakri

graha shows problem with family, where Kula devata must be appeased. The

most important is of course Surya-curse which demands Jyotirlinga Mantra

" Om Namah Shivaya Namah Rameshwaraya " 5 malas daily. This curse involves

lords of 4H and 9H which give also problems to higher studies, help is

coming from Shiva for this person.

Person will be quite spiritual in life and will have a lot of

disturbanec till he get married. He will be involved with computer

industry and be very good with dealing with people and excellent critic.

Shani in eight bhava as lord will give good spirituality and that is

needed to prevent marriage problem (correction for Mars in twelfth as

Kuja Dosha & Tithi is Ekadashi which can delay marriage). He will gain

money from people in conferences/forums or from beaurocracy and teaching
