Dear Freind,

The scientific reason is that the lizard slipped

and fell. As simple as that.

For the astrological reason for the lizard falling

on the head, I would give you a bigger and better

example to study the astrological base.

Please read some good book on Varamihira.

This Man predicted to the king in advance by

studying the chart of the prince, that the

prince would be killed by a Boar, on so n so

day and so n so time, which actually happened

in reality. This is a true story.

regards,

Bhaskar.

Dear Swamiji,

that is why in we Hindus, as soon as a person dies,

all the openings in the body, nose etc.are closed

so that no dienchanted soul can enter the body and

take over the dead body to enjoy its own unfullfilled

desires. Such souls remain invisible in vasnamaya

sharir and take form of ectoplasm which needs

a body to fulfill its desires.

So thats the simple reason here.

of course you must be knowing this.

I have mentioned for those members who

do not know this.

regards,

Bhaskar.

Bhaskarbhai, I beg to differ with you. The practice of stuffing cotton into nasal openings started within past 40 years or so and it is a Christain influence, more from visuals seen of the open coffins and funeral ceremonies. The idea of blocking nasal pasage is to prevent wriggling out of any worms within the body after the death of the individual, a possible ugly spectacle. If your theory is to be adopted, all the Navadwara-s have to be closed which is never done nor practicable. In the past, esp. earlier to 30/40 years I have never seen Hindu-s closing/ blocking any passages after death. However, people near the

bedside, close the eyelids, mouth and straighten the limbs so that, at rigor mortis, these do not deform in unnatural/ grotesque positions. The bodies are immediately kept on the floor, if possible on a grass-matting or banana leaves(in Kerala and Assom), oil lamps are lit at the head position facing South, and Ramayanaparayanam is started until the body is removed for the journey to cremation. The soul is supposed to hover around for 16 days auntil it is released at the 16th. day ceremony rites and immersing of ashes in the river. I read somewhere cannot recollect but these are the facts: 1. When the body- Bowtheeks sareeram- loses life, the neurons which carry the memory and are with the brain tissues, are not destroyed, either in cremation or by decomposition under the soil. these neurons carryng important memories hover around the area to complete its mission on the earth as the soul departed with unfulfilled desires. 2. This neuron/s enters the foetus in the 7th. month (Garbham Pushyathi Sapthame:) and the foetu completes its growth ready to enter the World carrying the memory of its past life. 3. Soon after the birth, the child is full of its memory of past life, but lives with the present attached to its mother and nurses.

Usually, the child totally loses its past life memory by the time it starts to speak and interacts with the parents and others. 4. In very rare cases, the past life memory is carried further and the skills/memories remembered after the child starts speaking: many cases of children claiming not belonging to this hse, identifying aged people elsewhere as their spouses..etc. 5. In other cases, the souls of others enter periodically and perform in their style. Read the South Amrican - Argenitinian Mechanic- A Doctor with a Rusty knife- how this auto mechanic did several complicated surgeries with a small knife under trance, possessed by the sould of a WWII German veteran, his talk and prescriptions in German, he didn't know in ordinary life. 6. Even Jesus Christ believed in the Stars of one's birth, when he told Judas "we both are born of the same star and so are close to each other" Postulating the theory of the satisfied souls returning to one of the 27 stellar stars of which one is born until called upon to be born again to do his "karma" on Earth. It is the dissatisfied souls that hover around, takes rebirths and at times move around as Ghosts until they are released from the Earth's bondage. swami wrote: Dear friends, It is well known fact that human brain has memoray tracks of past birth.Sometimes past tracks are activated, accompained by past living phenomena.
