Hi Ana, the first member I put anyone on moderation was Judi when I

noticed she was personally attacking you. Recently Larry and Bob were

both addicted to the insulting sport and neither of them could let

go...and they were both put on moderation because they ignored my

warnings. Since this list does not have a visible moderator, some

members tend to act up here more than the other groups. Larry earned

the distinction of sending me more emails than all the members, in

the history of this list combined, ever. He used to complain just

about everything that went on the list. Larry was removed from the

list because he was unable to stop escalating his personal attacks

even though I asked him stop many times via email and public

messages. Bob left and he came back. Judi recently left the list

after claiming that I didn't allow most of her posts. This is a

curious claim since most of her messages were approved. Anyone can do

the count. When I didn't allow her most insulting messages towards

Toombaru (and Ana in the past), that's when she got most upset, sent

me unspeakable emails and finally left the group. I thought it was

very unappreciative considering the time spent on moderation and how

most of her messages were indeed allowed (despite her claims

otherwise)and she was allowed to advertise her own group.

By the way anyone can start their own group and advertise here. In

case anyone wondering I have been very patient mainly because I don't

regard this list as mine and I consider myself more like a caretaker

for the Nisargadatta group. All I ask is respect for the Satsang and

respect the members who joined this list, not to be personally

insulted but because of their interest in Nisargadatta.

Dearest Hur,

I truly did not know Judi was on moderation because of me, that that

would not have been so.

Judy and I understood one another from the get go. At least I

understood the role she was undertaking when she kicked me off the

ranch. However, it was hurtful to my residual ego;-) when it

continued here and elsewhere. When we take sides, which sometimes I

understand we must, the game of 'other' begins and it usually has

quite an unhappy ending. Well, not exactly, if we understand who

plays all parts of the only game in town. This.

So, we, all the players here at Niz, may have accomplished an

awesome feat, if only one of us (lookers included;-) understand how

the game is played.

Thank you for all your participation.

Hugs,

Ana

That's a clear message, Hur, thanks.

Speaking for myself, I appreciate it when folks on a list express

their point of view, discuss relevant issues, and don't waste a lot of

time and energy on personal attacks or proving how witty they are at

someone's expense.

Nisargadatta also provided a clear message about what he considered

the key issues to be, and it makes sense that this list would address

those kinds of issues.

Thanks,

Dan
