The Silence spoken of is the silence of being itself. It is not the " absence of sound " . It is the deep coursing of what is, in, of, and through everything. > How could there be anything when from the beginning not a thing is? All that appears is only appearance. Reality is not in what is tangible. Reality is in the very vitality of experience that makes appearance possible. Reality is in *aliveness*... and it is in alivenss that these words are being read, that the meanings of the words are unfolding, that the screen upon which these words are seen is beheld... Without this aliveness nothing could be And this aliveness is *just now*... it is never " then " ... only now Everything spoken here goes back to the aliveness and the Silence just the distilled presence of aliveness Silence and aliveness are one the Silence... so very alive the aliveness... so very still Bill

" Silence " fits as far as words go, although all sounds are included, all discriminations, all differences - just no separation has ever occurred. It's too deep even to go by the name of " silence.
