'Looking' has a different connotation then 'seeing'.

 

Looking for something that does not exist is the conundrum of the mind

of man.

seeing what does exist.

The connotation to me of " looking " is one of focus and intention.

The connotation to me of " seeing " is not focused, but open and

relaxed.
