P: Yes, 'truly' so! The Pragmatic school of Philosophy defines truth

as those ideas that work for you. In this sense, ideas are not judged

by their veracity, but only by their consequences.

As an example of an idea which consequences were very beneficial

in the past, but that now, threaten doom, lets look at this Bible

command: " Be fruitful, and multiply " said the Lord.

2000 years ago when the world was underpopulated and few lived

past forty, this idea, was one which consequences were good for

humanity. Now, that we live in an overcrowded world, with dwindling

resources, pollution, and global warming, fanatical adherence to this

idea will bring disastrous consequences. So we can say this idea,

was true then, and false now. In an universe constantly changing

there can't be permanent truths.

Ana:

There is one unmitigated truth: I Am

And

This Is.

Everything else is thoughts about...and sciences to explain the

thoughts....IMHO ;-)

Did you ever consider how much land there is in the world? How much is

actually occupied?

In the US alone? And nature has a deft hand in population control.

Pollution would be resolved with an eco-friendly lifestyle, but what would

anyone GIVE UP for that?

Global warming, they say there was an Eden once, perfect climate...;-)
