Hi, toombaru:

The Self is really just being. It's not the ego. The ego is something

that is conditioned and is created more or less by societal

constraints; a product of thought. The Self is the awareness of all

that, of all " things " .

Yours,

fuzzie

The " Self " is an attempt by the self to define its assumed personal reality.

The " I am " assumption searching for its own origin......imagines something

beyond its personal reality.....something BIG.....something that created it.

Some call this..... " God " ......some call it " Self " ....

Both are downstream from I am.

Hi, Dan:

Yep. I know what you're saying. But, as long as we are sign making

animals, we can only communicate through these less than perfect sign

systems, i.e. languages.

Who can be " lost " ? I thought you said nobody exists? If nobody exists,

then, who can be " lost " ? Since you don't exist, what are you doing on

here? You are blowing your cover by posting on this forum, toombaru.

Hey, Fuzzie -

You're using the same sign over and over, like it really

must mean a lot to you!

Do you know how to write in running water?

Just don't create the particulars in your mind and then nothing will

be lost. The Allness is a given. Let it be.

I barely no how to write in standing water.

But, what's the answer to your riddle? I am waiting for the punchline.

Anticipatingly (sic) yours,

The particulars are the byproduct and backbone of mind.

** Conceptually isolating " awareness " is another

identifying, another strategy. It's not separable, nor

ultimate; there are no knowable ultimates. Thinking, speaking,

perceiving, sensing, etc. dualistically " create " impressions,

virtual-like energies, which immediately and simultaneously

dissolve, along with the (inferred) aware-ing of

them. All movements return to rest, including all the repetitive

emoting about " awareness " in contemporary spiritual circles.

Actually, nothing 'occurs,' nothing happens, nothing

is 'realized.'

The non-conceptual, non-realizable totality just *is* --

uncreated and unformed, unconditional and unconditioned.

There is only that, not " we " who are that.

On the other hand, being serious and earnest about

apparent motivations IS en-lightening.

Ken

close Ken, no cigar,

This *Is* is who we are. Never was any other way. Just that 'we' saw not.

Everything else is just 'motivation'

keeping One locked in 'un-seeing'.

Unless Ken sees this from experience all are just words about, without

meaning, a parroting.

Why would there be such a thing as Being if there would not be such a thing as

Knowing?

Anna
