Logic says you can only know a sage by comparison with a

nonsage.

Therefore, it is only by virtue of making someone a nonsage,

that someone can become a sage.

Therefore, to become a sage is an act of violence.

Oh no, sir! Comparison is only violence when there is a belief in

otherness. A sage, free from such illusion, is free to compare his or

her state with his or her _previous_ state.

Yes, you're really special, Anders.

Can we say ... " convenient " ?

As in: how convenient for me?

:-)

You think you're a sage, and you're going in

and out of states that you compare!

Really special and precious, you are!

I believe the state of a sage is a fearless state, and that when you

enter that state there is no turning back into the fearful state.

With enlightenment...there is no person...no locus....no center ...in which

could occur.

Exacly. What would be the taste of a margarita without awareness? Ok,

no person, no separate self, I can understand that, but awareness will

still be there, free as a bird in the sky.

Yes, a belief in being a separate self is a part of what is, and of

course is also being, but an illusionary kind of being. :---)

There is no outsource or insource.

You're having too much fun with the products

of your mentation, in my opinion, Anders.

It goes 'round and 'round, and as long as you

convince yourself it's fascinating, you

add investment that keeps it spinning.

And that what you're stuck with.

But it's all you know, and all you know to do.

So no blame.

It's just that if you once and for all get sick of

it, you might really look into it, and then

see what you prevented yourself from seeing before.

When you're ready to be clear on futility.

It's not a word game, not a game of fascinating

ideas, and takes heart and soul, so

to speak, all of you, in other words.

Seeing the futility of personal control _is_ the start of the

outsourcing to God.

There is nothing to outsource to.

Thinking you can outsource personal control, is an attempt

at maintaining control, just distorted by a concept

of ultimacy to which it supposedly is turned over.

There never has been any separative self which had control,

which could be turned over somewhere else.

The writer said " the start of the outsourcing to God " as in the

recognition that God is the whole power. :)

Bologna piled on top of bologna, just gives more bologna.

Whew, the stench of bologna in this place is really awesome!

Smell is a powerful way to show us that thinking is not all that we

are. We may think " bologna " when smelling bologna, but the thought is

not the smell itself. The map is not the territory. The menu is not

the dinner.
