This is in continuation to my earlier report on first anniversary of Sri Padmavathi sametha Sri Srinivasar Temple at our Ashramam complex at Alwarpet, Chennai. I am attaching with this the picasaweb links as well as youtube video links of two days function

The entire celebrations were attended by large number of devotees, in the presence of H.H.,who has planned this for the well being of all devotees as well as mankind. Ashramam Aaraadakars and other Kainkaryabarars enthusiastically particpated in all these functions, in front of the Temple.

Srimath Andavan has been involved in each and every detail on this Temple and has installed the Perumal and named as a very Special name, which you would not have heard of anywhere else in the whole world Yes this Perumal is sculptered very special by H.H. forethoughts and named as

AshtaLakshmiyathishtitha Sri Padmavathi Sametha Sri Srinivasa Perumal.

Ashta Lakshmi figures are sculptored around his head and body. Each part of the sculpture has its own meanings, which I did not grasp to the extent of reproducing here. When you visit our Ashramam in Chennai, from the entrance itself, this Perumal will greet you, such is the tall peedam and figure.

When we talk of Moolavar, vigrahams of Sri Padmavathi Thayar and uthsava moorthi with ubhaya nachimars are really amazing, shining brightly as watched from a distance.The attached videos and pictures will show you all these.In some of the clippings, you may see how Acharyan, enthusiastically guides those performing the Homams

I could only load pictures and videos, as I took, when I was physically present in Ashramam. For other functions like Thirukkayana uthsvam and Thiru Veedhi purappadu,I could not be present and hence thos e pictures are not here.
