Dear all,

Vedavyaasa muni had four sons and each one represented different purushaarthhaas.

1. Vidurar represents Dharmam.

2. Dhrutharashtrar  represents Artham.

3. Paandu represents  Kaamam

4. Shukamuni represents Moksham.

With out Dharmam , artham and kamam lead to destruction. Wealth acquired through dharmic ways to fulfill dharmic desires will lead us to moksham. Dharmam is the backbone. In Gandhari's words to Duryodhana :

yatho dharma: thatho jaya:  (Where there is dharma, there is victory)

and in Dronachaarya's words:

yatho dharma: thatho Krishna:

yatho Krisna: thatho jaya:

(where there is dharma, there is Krishna's presence and where there is Krishna, there is victory.)

Regards and prayers

Savitri
