Dear all memebers, I am not from a brahmin family. shall i chant santhanagopala manthra? if yes, which is the best day, time and food to do the pooja? There is no temple in Kuwait to do any pooja. We were praying to the Lord Guruvayoorappan (got married from here) to give a child from last 2 1/2 years.. Om namo narayanaya namah...om namo narayanaya namah.. With Prayer and Love Sharmila Arun Santana Gopala Vratam – Santanagopala Vrata Santana Gopala Vratam is dedicated to Sri Krishna and is observed on the Purnima day in Ashwin month as per traditional calendar followed in South India. Santana Gopala Vratam 2012 date is October 29. Santanagopala Vrata is observed on the Purnima day (October 29, 2012) in Kanni month in Kerala. The Vrata is observed by those married couples who want to have children. Parents observe it for the welfare of their children. Prayers on the day are dedicated to Sri Krishna. Devotees also visit Sri Krishna temples and make special offerings.
