Understanding and applying verse 21 of ch 3 of 'gita'

is the basis of righteoous living essential to great

life.

 

One may not be a commander of an Army, a corporate

head, leader of a political party, not even a person

having a following, not even having a family with wife

and children...yet 'he' is an organisation unto

'himself'. Put it simply 'he' as a physical body, the

kind of activities that are happening within him is

mind blowing. Think of his 'mind' and 'intellect', the

thoughts, the beliefs, the convictions, the dreams,

the ideas, attitudes... an individual himself is a

huge organisation by itself. Hence 'he' has a

resposibility to 'himself'. The above verse has a

great relevance in one's life. A lot, a lot depends

upon 'him', for 'he' is the 'world',(the 4 mahavakyas)

and 'he' is 'noble' (shresta) to 'himself'.
