The day before Deepavali, 10 year old Diane was relating a story about baby Krishna to her 2 year old niece Pushpa.Pushpa loves to hear stories about baby Krishna . Part of the story related about a monkey who jumped through a window---little Pushpa got so excited about the story that she came out the bedroom and was trying to tell her Mother and Aji the same story. Neither paid her any heed but she still continued with her story and then with her excitement in trying to relate what she heard--jumped out the open 1st floor window. Pushpa is a skinny tiny 2 year old. She landed on the concrete pavement below. Someone who saw her fell could not believe his eyes--he said she landed on her feet and then toppled backwards. That was when she hit her head and shoulders. She got up just crying a little. Had no aches pains or injury and went on telling the story of baby Krishna for the rest of the night. Jai Sri Krishna.
