dear all

 

could somebody enlighten me on the meaning of the word " Laangvam " , " Musalam " ,

which are weapons in the hands of the deity.

 

Could somebody also give a detailed translation of the following verse

 

" Vandhe Varaaha Vakthraam Varamani mukutaam

Vidhruma Srothra Bhushaam

Haaragraiveya Thunga Sthana bara namithaam

Peetha Kowseya Vasthraam

 

Devim Dakshordhvam Hasthe Musalamadha

Varam Laangvam Vaam Kapaalam

Vaamaabhyam Tharayathi Kuvalaya Kalitham

Shyamalam Suprasanna "

 

This is Dhyana Sloka of Mother Varahi. Could you also explain the significance

of the weapons.
