The nine rupas of Maa KAALI are

1.Siddhi Kaali

2.Mahaa Kaali

3. Bhadra Kaali

4. Smasana Kaali

5. Guhya Kaali

6. Dhakshina Kaali

7.Chamunda Kaali

8. Dhana Kaali

9.Kamakula Kaali

As per Maha Neelakramam and Thodala Tantra.

Some texts also describe 8 forms of MAA KAALI as under

1.Sri Kaali

2.Sri Kalarathri (8 armed)

3.Sri Chamundi (8 armed)

4.Sri Sarvaya Mundi (8armed)

5.Sri Bhadra Kaali (10 armed)

6.Sri Mahaa Kaali (12 armed)

7.Sri Chara Chandika (14 armed)

8. Bhairavi (14 armed)

As per the Shilpa Sasthra there are nine rupas

1.Kaali with two hands (Shilpa rathna)(Bhadra Kaali)

2.Kaali with four hands (Naradheeya samhita)(Dhakshina Kaali)

3.Kaali with six hands (Vaikanasa Dhyana mukthavali)

4.Kaali with eight hands (Chamunda Kaali)

5. Kaali with ten hands (Mahaa Kaali of Devi Mahatmyam)

6. Kaali with sixteen hands

7. Kaali with eighteen hands

8. Gham Beeja Kaali

9. Samashti Kaali

These forms are included in the Nine rupas first mentioned.

There are variations in the Dhyana Slokas and mantras for the

different Rupas in different texts.

Other than these we also have Ataharvana Bhadra Kaali (Maa

Ugraprathyangira).

I read about a ShasraBhuja Kaali(1000 armed) in Calcutta. But I have

not been able to locate the temple. Dasa Maha Vidyas are all

considered to be forms of MAA KAALI. There may be more forms. But I

am not fortunate to know about these forms.

Let us have more messages on MAA KAALI.

Jai MAA KAALI !!!
