Iam not a Vaasthu-shastra expert and only do it as a hobby. Iam yet to complete 10 books which I bought but am not finding time for it among many commitments right now. If one is interested in Vaasthu and to become an expert in it. These 10 books will suffice. Try to procure them somehow. I have some books in Telugu(ancient reprints) bought by my father years ago from Vawilla press. Ok the ten books are 1. Brihat Samhita-Written by Varaha Mihira. It is both an astrological and a Vaasthu text. 2. Vishnu Dharmottara Purana 3.Vishwakarma Vaasthu Shastra 4.Samarangana Sutra Dharana-Written by Bhojaraja 5.Aparajita Prutccha(Prutccha means "asked"...This book is in a dialogue form between the celestial architect Vishwakarma and his daughter Aparajita where he reveals certain Vaasthu and Alaya Agama shastras to his dear daughter) 6.Jaya Prutccha(This is also similar to the above mentioned text) 7.Pramana Manjari-Written by Sutradhara Mallu 8.Vaasthu Shastra-Written by Sukhananda Yati 9.Vaasthu Raja Vallabha-Written by Mandana Sutradhari 10. Shilpa Ratnam. These 10 books are 'THE' books in Vaasthu field and one who masters these will become an expert in it.Many of the books in the market are based loosely on one of these books. Please give me some time. I want to finish these books and implement it and see whether it works. Also Fengshui interests me a lot.I have many Fengshui items in home and have found it to be useful. This interest stems from my interest in Taoism.One thing led to another and I hit upon advanced Fenshui of the Chinese which includes ceremonial and spiritual fengshui. Ultimately Vaasthu and Fengshui in an advanced form will include alignment of forces inside one's sookshma shareera not just arrangement of house plans and items. That is a vast subject by itself. Will deal with it by starting a new on it Vaasthu,Fengshui and Agama will lead to harmonius life on this planet earth. Hope this helps...
