Namaskaram.

I was wondering if there is available a homa vidhi for Satyanarayana to be performed on Purnima. I know that often, alongside the puja, a separate homa is conducted for Sri Satyanarayana, and while I have the puja vidhi I do not have the homa vidhi.

I have just joined the group and am enjoying learning so much from all of the sadhakas on the list.

My humble and deeply grateful prostrations to Shri Narasimha on this divine seva he is performing. I have been learning and conducting the Lakshmi Homa for the past few months, and it is a very fulfilling puja and I am so grateful that this auspicious and potent form of sadhana is being made accessible to the public in such a clear and authentic form.

Warm regards,

Aditi

Namaste,

I will try to make it available in future. In fact, there are many requests for a Satya Narayana vratam manual also. With His blessings, it should happen this year.

I am glad you are performing Mahalakshmi homam.

BTW, another gentleman called Arnab has been asking for some mantras for the brihat procedure. I will try to help him soon. Meanwhile, I suggest doing the laghu paddhati.

Namaste Narasimhaji,

I understand that you have been receiving several requests for several tasks, including Homa manuals and Puja manuals. I also understand that there is only so much time that one can dedicate to any task, particularly when the number of tasks keeps on growing exponentially.

I am sorry to be bothering you with one more such request, this for a Sri Rama Taraka Homa vidhi for this upcoming Ugadi and Sri Rama Navami. I am planning for a Sri Rama Taraka Homa on Chaitra Shukla Dashami day. But please do not feel obligated to do this task for me. Please take as much time as you want for this, even if it goes beyond the Chaitra month. It is a noble task and I appreciate your contributions very much. Thank you.

Regards,

Narasimhaswamy Banavara

Thanks! I am amongst the many clamoring for a manual to conduct the Satya

Narayana vratam. However, I'm curious as to the tradition of homam accompanying

the Satya Narayana vratam ritual. It seems the custom of a homam after the puja

is well established in the eastern part of the country (India). But many a

priest of south indian origin from the local Balaji temple here has looked

askance at me when I have asked about the homam after the puja. None of them are

aware of it. After some discussions we finally reached a conclusion that it is

probably a cultural variance unique to the eastern and probably northern regions

of the country. I am curious as to what do you personally do after your

Satyanarayana Vratam. And what is the origin of the custom of Homan accompanying

the puja?

Warmest Regards,

Alok.
