Guest guest
Dear Aumji and other members, I was discussing this topic in another community and wanted you to share your experience on the same. I have read from many sites and articles that there are few precautions while wearing Rudraksha beads like one should not wear it while sleeping, drinking, smoking, having sex, menstrual cycle, visiting any funeral or a new born baby. Few are saying that the above rules are only mentioned in modern philosophy which again could be a viewpoint of any individual but there is nothing like this mentioned in ancient puranas or any scriptures. I have few reference links which also states the same: http://www.rudraksh a.co.uk/precautions.html http://www.rudraksh a-ratna.com/ showarticles.php?artid= 62 http://www.rudraksh a-ratna.com/ showarticles.php?artid= 52 http://www.rudraksh a.co.in/wearingRules.htm Please suggest if this is correct. Thanks, Regards, Amit Arora www.aboutshiva.com

Amitji, I have also head of these dozens of rules one has to follow to wear Rudraksh, but I dont know much about them. The people who sell them also sell all sorts of miracles by just wearing the Rudraksh, so presumably they need to have all sorts of rules, so they can blame the wearer for breaking one of rules when their miracle fails to occur. love
