Srimad Bhagavatam available as PDF

Namaste Dear friends ..

OM Namo Bhagavatae Sri Devi Namaha!

I have made a PDF file out of the Sri Devi Bhagavatam (also known as

Sri Devi Purana)

From Wikipedia...

Devi-Bhagavata Purana popularly known as Shrimad Devi Bhagvatam, is a

Hindu scripture in Sanskrit, dedicated to Devi, the Hindu name for

the Divine Mother or the Divine feminine.

After Devi Mahatmya, it is the second most important text for Shaktas

or the followers of Shaktism.

Srimad Devi Bhagavatam was written by Rishi Veda Vyasa, and stretches

over 12 books and 18000 verses. It is replete with Shakta

philosophical reflections, making it as important for the Shaktas, as

Shrimad Bhagavatam is to the Vaishnavas. [1]

Though modern scholars classify it as an upapurana (a sub Purana),

its author Veda Vyasa classified it as a `Maha Purana', notions of

which can be found at the end of chapter eighteen:

" Thus ends the eighth chapter of the first Skandha in the Mahapurana

Srimad Devi Bhagavatam of 18,000 verses by Maharsi Veda Vyasa " . [2]

The Devi-Bhagavata Purana extols the virtues of the goddess Durga as

the supreme being. It has become (along with the Devi Mahatmya of the

Mârkandeya Purana) a basic text for Devi worshipers, Shaktas.[3]

The final chapters (31-40) of the Srimad Devi Bhagavatam are known

as, The Devi Gita (Song of the Goddess). [4]

Sri Devi Bhagavatam

Please enjoy it it is a huge book but you can use it a reference to

any hindu or Vedic concept or god as well as an incredible pointer to

understanding the Self. Personally i have found that when the

Consciousness is meditated upon " AS " love then the union of the sakti

with Siva comes about... Siva being the Will in all beings

existing " AS " the consciousness while The Sakti in ALL beings is

existing as Love so then to deliberately Love the Sakti or Love " AS "

light\love is to unite with the Sakti As Siva...

Here is a quote from the Devi Bhagavatam... In Book 12 Chapter 8

verses 11-30 on page 846 of the PDF file...

O King! She appeared before them in the form of the Most Worshipful,

the Great Holy Light. It was resplendent like ten million Suns, and

cool as well like ten million Moons. It was brilliant and dazzling

like ten million lightning flashes, without hands and feet, and

exceedingly beautiful! Never was this witnessed before!

Just as is depicted here:
