Hi All:I copied part of a " scale " of emotions (down below).I'm putting it here so that it will be easier to havea guideline for the process I'm going to give you. This is an " emotions " process so that a person can see

what coming up the scale of emotions orwavelengths has to do with how they live their life.Emotions and thoughts are very much tied to eachother.Process:Take something that you do not like - like say, doing

your taxes, taking out the garbage, changing diapers,a loud mouth neighbor and their little dog too :).(itdoesn't have to be your own thing or something you docurrently), You get the idea. Now, get the idea of the scene or situation firmly and

make a small statement about it. Like " I can'tstand the smell of garbage " , or " screw IRS " , or " hopethe neighbors " move " .Keep a simple sentence that you've created in mind.

Now, go to the scale below and " pick " anemotion. If you do not know what a particular emotionis exactly, please look it up in the dictionary.Create that emotion as best you can say the simple

statement you've made up while being in that emotion.Move to a higher emotion and say the same statement.Move to one even higher. Then move to some that arelower. If you find that your statements are changing, then

just note this, but don't change the sentence nomatter what emotion you are doing. You can eventually even change subjects and use thescale again. What this does, is to help a person realize that their

views, opinions and thoughts and also postulateschange with their emotions. That while positive thinking is a good thing - whatholds us down into sticking to what we don't want, areour emotions. You can change your thoughts, but if

you still have negative emotions associated with oldmemories, then you can be going up and down on amental roller coaster ride.Scale of Emotions:Serenity (Spirit of Play)Exhilaration
