Guest guest Report post Posted October 3, 2007 while practicing tantra or yoga one word that comes to us often and which is consider the biggest blockade to spritual upliftment is MAYA.what is maya?for some its the external stimulus which diverts ur efforts from spritual upliftment. in tantra maya is purely imbalance or chaos between different energies present within us . as these energy within us represent the universal or cosmic energies so in all there is disharmony between us and universe or between self or consiousness and god which represent cosmical vibrations.maya denotes a powerful downward obstacle.the state of parmandanda or extreme pleasure is completly the opposite of maya. so why this imbalance occurs?imbalance is always a result of the wrong techniques we do and thus mismatching the resonace of our body with universe. how to overcome this? its the easiest task to say than to practice. the practice says worship every energy of ur body whether tamsic or rajsic with same efforts. but again this causes aproblem. when uworship tamsic energy there r moments when ur deviated towards them and ignore the rajsic part.here the help of teacher comes who is atatched to u at ur anahta level . he can always monitor u and guide u and in few cases can give ua blow.
