In my opinion,

 

Boy 1: The match points are 20 out of 36 with two dosha, with Mars is in its own house (many may see as if it is non manglik but for me effects will be there to some extents).

Boy 2: 19.5 points with one dosh (Gana). Here, Saturn is in 7th house and the effects of Saturn in 7th house will be there.

 

Both charts do not have very great match.

As rightly stated by you parents of the Boy 1 are of the opinion that the boy has no dosha since Mars is in its Moolatrikona house and have expressed good matching.

 

Here is another boy3:dob:3-7-1974/09-25 hrs/Selam,T.Nadu

 

Here also the boy has Mars in 12th & 8th wrt Lagna & Moon respectively with Leo as lagna.The girl is also a Leo lagna native and has Mars in 12th wrt Venus only. I would like to have your rating on the match.

 

Some astrologers say that one need not too much bother about Mars,if its MD is not to happen in one's life time.Can I have your comment on this?

In my opinion, the Boy 3 (July 3- 1974) as you mentioned is Manglik where as the girl is not. Besides this, the match points are low to have very happy marriage. It also has dosha. With respect to Venus or Jupiter, Moon or Lagna, the probability of having Mars dosha will increase a lot and then most of the people will have this dosha. The most effective way thus may be considering from Lagna and then from Moon.
