vkomal 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2009 Dear Respected Doctor, I am 24 years old and was diagnosed with inflamed prostate (prostatitis). I am currently taking anti-biotic. My doctor told me to take anti-biotic for two months to get rid of all bacteria from my body. I am afraid high and prolonged dosage of anti-bacterial might damage my liver or kidney. My doctor also told me that the symptom will be Chronic. That is, it might come back again from time to time when I am weak. I am currently looking for alternate medicine. I have done 10 days fasting before with just lime juice and maple syrup. I am wondering will fasting help get rid of bacteria forever? I am wondering if Ayuveda has a cure for this disease forever.
