Does anyone know of a natural way to treat shingles. The pain is quite bad and runs across the lower back and down the sides of the legs. Allopathic medicine being taken is affording little relief to the condition

Please help

Shingles is Herpes zoster. It`s a viral infection that affects the nerve endings that supply the muscle or skin. The lesions that appear on the back are vesicular or blisters that`s quite painful. We treat shingles by an oral dose of Vitamin B complex(Neurobion) 5000mg 1 tab a day. You may also apply on those blisters ACYCLOVIR(Zovirax) cream twice a day. As for the pain, you may take an analgesic, Celecoxib (Celebrex) 400mg 1 tab a day.

Ph in the blood is a parameter by which one will know if a patient say, with diabetes has metabolic acidosis( ph is below 6). In metabolic alkalosis the patient`s blood ph goes up( ph above 6). What does this mean? A patient with untreated diabetes who is not able to utilize his blood glucose for energy uses his stored fat. The by products of metabolism of fat are the ketoacids the ones that cause the acidosis which ultimately leads to coma. We can confirm this manifestation in people who fast or starve to death.

What has this got to do with the disease termed shingles? That treatment maybe difficult if the patient has diabetes or has been fasting.
