[/html] [/font] Namaskar, Some suitable stars are: Star/Pada/Points out of 36 Rohini/ 1-4/ 30.5 Mrigsira/ 1,2/ 29.5 Anuradha/ 4/ 24.5 Yes he does have Mangalik/Kuja dosha as Mars is in 2nd house. There many be problems in general to family life. But there can be chances of remedy for this by benefic Jupiter's influence as he is aspecting Mars. First, it is a good idea if he marries a girl who is mangalik. But mangalik is a general term. In my humble opinion there are 'grades' of the dosha. The most serious would be a severly affilicted and frustrated Mars in the 7th or 8th house, which your brother does not have. His dosha is mild and so I recommend he marry a girl with a mild dosha too. If you have any examples of possible matches you can let me know. Each case is different in the grade of the dosha as there are planets such as Jupiter, Moon, or Venus aspecting or being conjunct with Mars 'softening' the dosha. Then it is a matter of Mars' placement and which house he owns in the chart. Also, navamsa and other divisions, strength of Mars, and many other factors. Any pada of ANY star is not fine for matching. Mangalik dosha does not supercede other factors in the horoscope, rather it is one of the factors. The three asterisms I mentioned are the best possibilities of matches for your brother. But mind you, this is only the surface of matching; it is important to see how well the charts of the possible suitor match with you brother. Aslo in the chart i can see that mars is under -3- 26 7 . I thought it means 3rd house. But you mentioned it as 2nd house. How do i calculate which house is mars in for bride No, I do not know how that chart reads, but based on the birth details provided your brother's Mars is in the 2nd house in Taurus. For calculating Mars for the bride will be a bit complicated.
