Many who come seeking spiritual life may have experience of suffering (according to the Gita). Suffering by nature can be a catalyst to full awakening and eventual God consciousness. Infact I am of the opinion that full God consciousness is the only 'pure disease free state' for the spirit soul. By the process of Naam kirtana the soul will eventually enter a clearing stage, where unwanted states of conditioning begin to fall away. For those who have had some deep psychological neurosis (deeply conditioned life), this clearing stage can possibly be most diffcult. At this stage of spiritual development in Naam bhajan, sadhu sangha is crucial. The sangha becomes the healing support network. Unfortunately many religious leaders may not be able to offer the necessary support, experience, or time, to the sadhaka in need. The variety of sadhakas and their individual needs, considering the conditions of disease (false ego), can be vast in this world. The below book is an invaluable work, for the devotee who needs such support, during the time of clearing of offences. And from it will glean knowledge of the process during the 'healing' stage. The potential of full actualization (self realization) for the soul is its actual destiny. I am of the opinion that in this 21st century we must utilize all means to assist the suffering soul to reach its full destiny - an eternal servant of the Summum Bonum (Sri Krsna).God consciousness. Some (advanced souls) living entities may encounter 'peak experiences' on their journey, others may encounter 'spiritual emergence crisis', and these encounters may be very personal realization of the nature of God while on the path. The compassionate nature of the vaisnava is to assist the seeker in his/her sincere search for harmony and peace. The need for harmony and peace is inherent in all souls, and must be supported. In time, faith and science will harmonize (in this golden age)....and the Holy Name will be the call for all souls. The message of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu will be spread in all its simplicity...without out demeaning all the healing modalities that are manifest in this world by a kind and merciful God. The realized soul will understand the mystery of God's grace in this regard - which is beyond the pitfall of sectarianism and other false religious delusion. We are in good standing under the guidance of Sri Guru, who gives the example of simple devotion (suddha-naam-bhakti). By appilication of good intelligence he gives us the freedom to serve in our own unique capacity. The book below is a wonderful compliment to the simplicity of Naam bhajan and its fruit, for those in need of healing during health crisis and search for freedom in Sri Krsna.
