I see many social actions as not only good but a form of karma-yoga when done in the consciousness of Sri Isopanishad, that is everything and everyone comes from God and such all are His children despite the form and thus worthy of respect and love.

No need to tell the animal rights activist to stop his activities but rather to engage in them in the proper consciousness.

Primate vivisector Jack Gallant home vigil report-back

Activists visited UC Berkeley primate killer Jack Gallant's home for a solemn vigil in memory of the primates killed at his hands.

--> On Saturday May 10, at 10pm, activists gathered outside Jack Gallant's home on Siler PL. in Berkeley for a vigil in memory of the primates killed in UC Berkeley laboratories.

 

Jack Gallant is the only current known primate vivisector at UC Berkeley. He performs highly invasive vision experiments on macaque monkeys. The animals are locked down in restraint chairs, holes are drilled into their skulls, and electrodes inserted into their brains for brain recording. The animals are deprived of water in order to motivate them to perform eye movements or vision fixations.

 

A reporter from the East Bay Express was on hand to interview activists. Gallant left home because of the vigil, and many of his neighbors were educated about the atrocities he commits behind closed doors.
