It features about the 12th of december 2012, according to mayan calendar, as the date when a turbulant period will end and a new era will rise. I was wondering if in Jyotisha, the Vedic astrology and the oldest kind in the world, there are any indications that the said date is indeed a day of great changes. Thank you very much! sopatel 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2007 I have actually heard that this particular Kaliyug will have a swarna yug, golden age, contained with in it. The effects of kaliyug will remain but the world will see even a greater abundancy in material wealth. Thats my two cents. If anyone can elaborate that would be great.
