When will male and female suicides in India be equal?

Dear Astrologers!

 

What is that plagues India for which male suicides is 64% and female suicides is 36% as per latest statistics(2005) published by Govrnment of India? The gap is of around 31000.

 

When will there be gender equality in suicides?

This is not a question to be answered by astrology but by common sense.

Why men commit suicide, these are mainly farmers who take a credit for their agricultural business. Somehow when things go bad these farmers find themselves caught up in the position that they consider that they will never be able to pay back their credit and because of the interest their debt even increases. At this point these farmers feel so broken-hearted that they commit suicide. Since these are mainly male farmers who sign such contracts with the World Bank, you'll never find that the number of women who commit suicide will be the same as men.
