Jagannatha Ratha Yatra On Monday

Hyderabad, July 14: The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) will organize lord 'Jagannatha Ratha Yatra' on July 16 from RTC X cross road to Lalithakala Thoranam, Public Gardens.

 

The ratha yatra which begins at 1 pm would proceed through chikkadpally, Narayanaguda, Badi Chowdi, Sultan Bazar, Koti, Putlibowli-X-Road, Mozamjahi market, Abids circle, Hare Krishna Mandir and culminates at Public gardens.

Speaking to press persons on Saturday here, Ratha Yatra Chairman R.M. Gupta said that Minister for BC Welfare Mr. Mukesh Goud and Hyderabad district collector R. V. Chandravadan would inaugurate the Yatra.

Nearly 50,000 to 75,000 devotees would take part in the procession. Also, the carnival would witness music and dance feast. Apart from this they would distribute prasadam to more than 25000 devotees.

During the procession they would offer Maha Aarati and Chappan Bhoga to the Lord Jagannatha and distribute Vedic scriptures to the disciples. He also informed that private bookstalls would function for the sale of spiritual books.
