Guest guest Posted July 7, 2007 Report Share Posted July 7, 2007 Jai Shri Krishna I have just read the recent article posted on the sampradaya sun about the plight of hundreds of our widowed mothers who have gone to find shelter in Vrindavan dham after being rejected by their families and communities. It is very saddening to see that this is still happening in a country which is supposedly building itself towards great economic development. It is also further sad and shamefull to consider that this is happening in a country where politicians (BJP etc...) talk the rehtoric of religion and dharma, where they fight to build a temple for Lord Rama in Ayhodya yet they seem to be doing nothing for the plight of these destitute women. I wonder what Lord Rama, would think about this, He is the very Lord (if we recall from the Sita-exile episode in uttara khand) who sacrificed his own happiness and householder life for the sake of the happiness of his subjects.
