KRISHNAGAR (WEST BENGAL) 10 Apr, 2007 2017hrs ISTspacer.gifPTI : An American monk of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness was found dead in his room at the organisation's Mayapur headquarters, near here.

 

The body of Roger Terrance, who was known as 'Suharto Maharaj' and died on Monday, was sent for post-mortem on Tuesday, ISKCON PRO Paresh Das said.

 

He was 56-years old and had been associated with ISKCON for the last 30 years.

 

Officials of the US embassy are arriving here on Tuesday night to decide whether the body of the monk would be sent back home or not.
