Dear practioners and other group members,

For my study purposes I have created a list of subdoshas and related

herbs. Could some of you kindly review the list checking the herbs I

have indicated and add 3-5 most significant herbs for balancing each

subosha?

Prana vayu: Ashwagandha (Brahmi)

Udana Vayu: Ashwagandha (coffee & tea over-stimulates)

Vyana Vayu: sesame oil, maricha

Samana Vayu: Jeera, Ajwain, Liv.52

Apana Vayu: Trifala, Senna, Haritaki

Pachaka piita: Amla, anar, adhraka, pippali

Rainjaka pitta: Liv.52, neem, haldi (?)

Bhrajaka pitta: neem, amla

Alochaka pitta: Ghee, Amla, trifala, blueberry

Sadhaka pitta: Brahmi, jatamansi

Kledaka Kapha: aloe vera?

Avalambaka Kapha: Vasaka

Sleshaka Kapha: Guggul

Bodhaka Kapha: ?

Tarpaka Kapha: Brahmi

I would be very thankful for the help.

Dear Friend,

This is very interesting information. I am very happy to have this knowledge.

Can I ask you for the classical background or source material to select specific herb for specific subdosha?

Like from Charak Samhita or other classic text book? or by your own experience?

This is wonderful idea, no doubt. We must think more on this.

Best wishes,
