Namaste Karen and Debra and all family

Taking baby steps with a mantra of this nature is a great idea. Take

a sankalpa whose goal is to repeat it daily, for a certain number of

days, and becoming comfortable with it. Let it seep into your

consciousness and it will become more familiar and easier to chant.

The mantra itself will release blocks and create harmony in our

hearts, minds, and bodies. As it does, uncertanity and hesitation

will be replaced with the certainity that this can be done.

If Maa has given us this, then it can be completed. Of this there is

no doubt. We are Her children, and as such, She will give us the

power to complete this sankalpa. Trust in Her.

There is this too (if I may butt in...) A sankalpa that stretches one

a little, that makes one a little nervous, "can I do this?,is there

enough time?", that has in it an uncertainty born of the challenge of

a new level of effort or commitment (not too much, but just enough),

is the best kind of sankalpa. It changes you, stretches you, opens you

up to greater things and more profound depths.

I'm not talking about a sankalpa that's going to ruin your family or

one that you know is beyond you - but one with just a little

uncertainty - one with a challenge in it.

Once you commit, there is only one way to go, and that is forward. Our

blessed Mother is always saying, "Keep going forward!"

Keep going forward!
