You are right about haraa and hare, but I think hari fits the context of the kalisantaropanishad better. The name haraa is not used as much as hara and hari. It's less likely that hare indicates haraa in the mantra. But if that's your "bhaava" during the chanting, then the meaning can change.

 

That shloka you often chant is also part of the saptashloki durga. It's very beneficial to chant these together.

No whatever you do, don't alter the mula mantra:

 

Add swaha after the Namah . To pronounce use the rule of sandhi and pronounce it as:

NamasSwaha. (Replace the (h) by half (s)). Hope this helps.

 

 

I amnt really sure about the Laxmi Mula Mantram. Looks you have got that right. And if you want to perform the Havanam then .....yes as you rightly said add that Swaha instaed of Namah. But I think you also need to do the chandassu before the mulamantra. It says about the Rishi and chandassu. Please cosult learned people for this. Wrongly doing Mulamantram or Veda swahakaram isnt acceptable.
