Geographical Astrology?

Dear Carana,

This is bit difficult. I think only few in the world would be able to

determine this. First the Natal Chart has to be seen whether it shows

physical movement in the adulthood age. Then the Prashna Chart has to

be made to check the directions, and then the other factors which

would decide the place would be the Quadruplicities, Triplicities,

the akshar (First letters) the Nakshatra Lords suggest etc.

This whole analysis has to be combined and the permutations and

combinations, deducted logically, to give the desired indications.

To search for such a astrologer would be a diffcult excersise

initially, like seacrhing for a needle in a haystack. Such

experts are living in obscurity, most of the times away from the

crowds. Only a few precious souls would reach them.

The second best option is to give the few places where one likes to

visit. and then ask for advise from a good astrologer, so that

it is easier for one to decide.

The third best option is to leave to the fate wherever it may take

one.

This may not help You astrologically, but all I can offer at the

moment. Or else would have to search for the relevant passages in

the Prashna Marg.

regards,

Bhaskar.

Der Carana,

It would be near impossible to determine a particular country...geographical

boarders etc. change frequently. However (as an example), if I'm not

mistaken, undeveloped countries are ruled by Saturn... and so forth.

Each planet rules a certain direction and providing a planet is strong and

there is a connection with 12th (immigration), 7th/10th (residence abroad),

the native may take up residence in a country located in the direction

indicated by the strongest planet...the place can be more finely tuned by

determining whether it's a rich country, undeveloped country etc...

Best Wishes,

Mrs. Wendy

dear friends

since this is my first mail in this group, let me allow to give a

brief introduction.

my friend g.b.prashant kumar has advised me to contribute in this

group of wendy saying that this is a serious pure astrology group

with no nonsense. have gone through various past mails and found

most members involvement, specifically wendy, in knowledge sharing

which is an objective of mine as well. time permitting, would be

more than happy to contributing more in this group by sharing as

little as i know and learn as much as i can.

regarding geographical representation by planets, as wendy has

rightly said each planet rules a particular direction and all

astrologers know the planetary lordships of all eight direction.

in saravali chapter 7, verses 14 & 15, kalyana varma attributes the

geographical lords of the indian coninent viz. sun for kalinga, moon

for yavana, venus for samatala, saturn for saurashtra, mercury for

magadha, jupiter for saindhava, ujjain for mars and dravida for

rahu/ketu. if geographical spread or representation of indian

continet could be done, gobal representation can also be done. the

modern names of these medieval indian states are different but known

to all those who know india well.

as regards success in a country of a particular direction, kalyana

varma clearly says in chapter 4, verse 13 that if a native wish to go

to a particular direction, if he worships the planetary lord of that

direction and then visits that direction, he would be successful.

to answer carana's specific query, settlement abroad involves malefic

influence on 4th house and moon and also the connection of 9th and

12th lords. needless to say, rahu plays a major role and his dasa or

the planet associated with rahu indicates the timing of settlement.

Welcome aboard!

I too like this list for the reasons that this a purely a

discussion and learning forum. Wendy has done a great job to cut

the crap everytime somethig cropped up. I don't see such a

discipline in many other forums.

Krishna
