meaning: Oh mother, you are spread every where, the colour of the flower pomegranite, controlling the whole earth, she is having weapons and sugar cane in her hand . if we worship her (one who having three eyes) we will not have any bad in our life

Thozhuvaarkku = Those who worship

Aathaalai = (Our) Mother

Engal Abiraamavalliyai = Our Abiramavalli

andamellaam poothaaLai= (who) created all the Worlds (literary

translation "One who blossmed all Worlds)

maadhulam = pomogranate

poo = flower

niRathaaLai = colored (one)

puvi = Earth

adanga = controlling

kaathaaLai = (one who) protects (the earth)

aingaNai = 5 arrows (pushpabaaNam)

paasaangusamum = ...and the lasso and the goad

karuppu = ...and the Sugarcane (Old Tamil, present usage = karumbu)

villum = bow

serthaaLai = SHE who has them (arrows, lasso, goad and bow)

mukkaNNiyai = The 3 eyed one

oru = (not even) any (literary translation = one - but in this

context "any")

theengu = misfortune

illaye = will not happen
