What is your experience about Saturn in the seventh house in Tula?

What kind of a husband or wife does Saturn show? What is your

experience with exalted Venus in the twelfth along with Saturn in the

seventh. What is your experience when exalted Saturn in the seventh is

retrograde?

Best wishes,

My wife has the reverse of what you state, with a debilitated retrograde

Saturn in 7th in Aries and a debilitated Venus in 12 conjunct an exalted

Merc.

Her experience is... well, unspeakable :)

Ramapriya,

Thank you for sharing information. May I ask about the dasa/antardasa

during which your wife got married? You don't have to share this

information, if you choose.

Actually, I have come across several people with Saturn in the seventh

house. However, I have not met anyone with exalted retrograde Saturn

in the seventh house with exalted Venus in the twelfth. I am curius

to know about their experience of marriage. Although I am sure that

such a combination is quite common.

Radha

I have come across several charts with Saturn in seventh (some

exalted, some debilitated, some in Capricorn). One case had venus in

12th (Gemini).

The common thing I observed is that

1. Good public life, but bad or not so good married life. Most of

the people with saturn in seventh will have affiliations to people

from lower/working class (what ever that means). This could mean

interaction with working level people.

2. Saturn gets digbali in seventh.

3. If Saturn in seventh has some connection with moon - there could

some partnership problems. Check the case of Scot Peterson (he is

on death row for killing his wife) he has Sat® and Moon in Taurus.

Another case in the family. Saturn and Moon in Capricorn for Cancer

lagna -one engagement breakup and now husband's health is a probem.

People with Saturn in seventh will look good in the public eye but

could be cause of tension in private life (married life).

Nancy Pelosi (unverified chart): Libra lagna, Saturn Venus combo in

Aries

Chief Justice Roberts: Saturn in libra (seventh) exalted, 10th lord

and also Jaimini Amk. Late marriage. No kids (his own).

My 2 cents.

No problems at all Radha. She was running Rahu-Mars-Saturn (so appropriate

:)) on Jan 29, 1995 while I was running Venus-Saturn-Mars.

You've a rather uncommon definition of 'common' :) What you say can happen

in 2 or 3 stretches of 1 month each, once every 30 years roughly.

Women with Saturn in 7th are known to get old, mean, abusive, alcoholic

idiots for husbands... wondering if I should wrectify my wife's birth time

:)

Dear Radha,

One of my relatives has Saturn in seventh, he married twice after death of his first wife. His first one was inter-caste marriage

Both of them are very displined in life but relationship full of arguements....his wife is very hard working, a great lady had to die early at 53 years.

Just to stir this a bit Radha - if I was born 30 seconds later than the

10.52 am, I'd have been Virgo with Saturn in 7th and Venus in 12th :)

Manjunath,

Thank you for sharing. This is exactly the information I need. I

wonder if Chief Justice Roberts met his wife through his work? The

wife too, must be important in her own sphere of activity. Do you

know when he got married?

Ramapriya,

The question of the "exact time" bedevils all astrologers.

Personally, I think there are some virtues to Saturn in the seventh house.

Understatements don't come any louder than that Radha. I've held that very

view for a while now too, not least because Saturn gets digbala in 7th for

some reason :)

Dear Radha,

Saturn is in Pisces

Ascendent: Virgo

His first wife died of diabetes at the age of 53 and he remarried a middle age lady.

He's likely to lose wealth during that period, mainly because of his elder

coborns. Looks like either an elder bro's health is a major issue, or could

even be the left ear. Could even be the loss of a court case relating to an

ancestral property. He may tend to get profligate on things not really

essential in life... like wife's jewelry :)

He should additionally be very wary of striking up business associations

with unknown foreigners or foreign companies.

In short, issues relating to the 11th house. The good thing is that since

Venus is in Taurus, the fellow will at least have the money for all this.

Nothing much actually - just that the native won't die finding avenues for

More a 2nd-4th lord exchange. It's ok, nothing dreadful for now. Watch for

susceptibility to profligacy between mid-2010 for a couple of years.

I know you'll be nigh on hanging up your boots but by when you'll turn 49 or

The egg who first had me interested in astro some 5 years ago had an exalted

Saturn in 7th. At the onset of the Venus dasa, he ran into quite

considerable cardiac and marital turbulence at a relatively young age of 52

(Ve was in Aq in his chart), and this was 2 years ago. The last I heard, his

wife left him some 1.5 years ago to go and live with her bro, taking their

two young daughters. Not sure what the seed of the discord was or whether

the acrimony was temporary.

Interestingly, he had been suspecting some such thing to happen and I

remember him mentioning that this was one of the known ill-effects for men

of Sasa Yoga, which the rishis have us believe is one of the five biggies.

He didn't think much of the Ve-Sa parivartana, btw.

I wager it's nakshatra padas. Thought the "...and worth marrying" bit rather

interesting :)

Cheers,

Yes Dear Rampriya,

Its the Nakshatra Padas,of course.

Yes one Guru commented to us students once that if a girls chart

with Aries or Scorpio rising comes with Mars in the Lagna, dont just

reject the proposal without looking deeper, as apparently we may

think that the girl may be very commanding and demanding and strict

in nature, but she may be on deeper inspection , having those

attributes as mentioned, alongwith a dash of beautiful feminism too,

like Aishwarya Rai or Waheeda Rehman etc. who though commanding are

yet appealing, dignified and worth waging for. If for instance Aries

ascendant falling in Nakshatra pada of Venus would make the lady

enchanting like the beauty Queens of India.Who when the husband falls

sick would tender to him just like they do in fairy tales, and the

Spider women type fantasies, taking over till the Man becomes normal

to continue his duties once again.

regards,

Bhaskar.

Dear Rajeshwari,

What answer do you expect for such a question?

The internet is not the safest place to seek reliable information but by not

posting relevant info, you maybe disadvantaging yourself considerably... you

don't think some effect lasts from birth all through the life merely because

of a planetary combination, surely?

The effect of sade-sati may not be too dire if the Moon's placement in the

natal chart is either in Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, Sagittarius or

Capricorn.

Regards,

Ramapriya
