Namaskar and thank you for your message........yes from Siva Purana

and Padma Purana to Rudrakshajabalopanisad to Nirnayasindu there are

references you speak of however many are open to interpretation and

some are not.........best book to start with is by Dr Subas Rai in

our Rudra Center Book Webpage named Rudraksha Values and Bimedical

Implications as this book lists many of the other Holy Books that

mention the Holy Rudraksha

 

will give example........in the Mantramaharnava is stated......a

Rudraksha with three faces is Fire Himself.........

 

 

If we go to Hindu Tradition Fire represents Lord Agni who is linked

to planet mars and from Himalayan Tradition we learn that Mars is 3

Mukhi Lord Agni and this Holy Rudraksha would be worn to pacify Mars

 

In the Nirnayasindhu is stated........A Rudraksha with twelve faces

represents 12 Suns so we can interpret this as being 12 Mukhi

represents the Sun Lord Surya

 

there are many books that mention one or another of the beads with

connections to the many Deities by way of Jyotish Astology or

Rudraksha and you can either investigate them one by one or go to
