Guest guest
Namaste Sri Divisions in the mind shall remain till one realizes the Truth. It is the mind which creates division. It is also the one which calls for equality. True Equality is only possible through Realization. Else who is equal in this Maya? If there is no caste divide (which is a figment of selfish people only as only Varna Dharma is suggested in the scriptures), then, there is rich and poor divide. Or intelligent and not so intelligent divide. Or racial divide. In Australia, where you live, Monty Panesar, a Sikh was called names, etc. Is there no divide? Then, there is the language divide. Then, there is a divide of states. Today, Christians who talk about no caste system are themselves pushing for reservations for Christian Dalits! Indian Government which is not supposed to entertain caste system has incorporated reservations for Scheduled Castes. Who is promoting caste system? Think! Infact, you are creating one more division here. You talk of Lal kitab remedies which I totally reject and have had major cases in which life of people was destroyed using them. Some people love such remedies. I accept them and they accept me. It is understanding and acceptance that unites and not baseless screaming and comments. Hatred, anger, jealousy, and baseless comments add to this inequality. Ego clashes increase, divisions increase and your dream of uniting shall fade. Understand and concentrate on Astrology. If you cannot, then, it is your choice. Again, this email is not to generate another debate or clarification. Thanks and Regards Bharat On 11/16/06, aghorabhairav <aghorabhairav .au> wrote: > > > Dear Friend! > > I think you missed the point again and people like you will never > change. > > I had to put my observations because when it turned to the topic of who > is a real brahmana? and now you know it better. > > And it was not meaningless debate, but highly relevent and a burning > problem faced by All hindus. Guest guest
Bharat ji, Beautiful post! Discrimination as a conscious and voluntary faculty (or attribute) is a human attribute. It has indeed its high and refined purpose and it has its low and garbled manifestation: Scholarly discussions represent the former and biases and bigotry represent the latter manifestation! It is almost like growth itself. Growth is so desirable in its positive form which children go through in order to become adults. Growth also has its negative side, as in malignant disorders, cancer! Guest guest
dear sri anand, I have been following ur mails on this caste brahmin bashing. I am also a brahmin by birth but i cannot call myself a brahmin because i dont perform sandhya vandanam and as per vedas anybody who fails to do sandhya vandanam cannot be considered as Brahmin. so ur debate at this present juncture is irrelevant, because most of the younger generations who belonged to this caste have migrated to greener pastures outside the country. today if at all there is a fight or hatred among the castes it is amongstthe other castes who are not brahnins. Recently I read the book written by K. veeramani (atheist and a brahmin basher) about the "other side of Bhagawat gita". I appreciate his initiatives he had taken in bringing to light the aberrations in Bhagawat gita, he has utilised sanskrit scholars to translate the versus and he has given his view point. Unfortunately he has classified Lord krishna as Brahmin whereas he is a Yadav. Yes there are aberrations and one cannot accept that Lord himself instead of bringing peace and harmony amongst brothers he has instigated ARjuna to fight and win the battle thro dubious methods adopted by Lord himself in the battleground for which he gives justification in a philosophical manner which cannot be accepted as per today's society. after reading this book i find that the book is irrelevant in today;s society because majority of the hindu population irrespective of caste have never read bhagawatgita and the younger generation will never have any interest in reading bhagawat gita and follow the same. to conclude, every religion will have its abberataion but only hindu religion is very tolerant othewise u cannot find this book writtenby MR.K.Veeramani.I can straight way tellu that he willnot have the guts to present a critical analysis of Koran or the Bible who are the majority religion in this world. If u consider Brahman curse is not there u have every right to reject it at ur level of astrology, but u cannot force others to accept ur belief. finally i would always love to have a society which has more love and less hatred. with good wishes, k.gopu Sponsored Link Mortgage rates near 39yr lows. $310k for $999/mo. Guest guest
Yes, I never want anybody to "agreedis- agree" with me, both are 'temporary' and 'induced' artificially from outside. I just want anybody to analyse anything according to their own natural real experiences and in a balanced way with an 'open mind' without any past memories or vested interests or conditionings attached to 'it', should act out of that freedom 'now' 'here' just with his/her total being. Because 'TRUTH' Does not depend on our yes or no's, but 'IS' what as it is(ness) unknowable and unfathomable, yet suttle connecting.........to this ISNESS....Interior......Consciousness......... If you are 'Total', completely total in with Your Body, Mind and Soul as One and then you listen, then it is called "Samyak Shravana".......the very act of very listening transforms you...... ......................... Please Don't miss this point in your further spiritual path and satsanghs. with due respects to all! vedic astrology, Ice Maiden <icymaiden2000 wrote: > > Ananda > > To reply you in one sentence, "I disagree with you". > > > > > Sponsored Link > > $200,000 mortgage for $660/mo - 30/15 yr fixed, reduce debt, home equity - Click now for info > >
