One arrow shot becomes 1000 arrows,one guy having 10 heads,come on people without proof and common sense what do you have to debate over all these? Do you know your past births or do anyone out here knows it? Do you feel or see your soul? Forget levitation! Probably, they modern scientists don't care much about this supernatural occurences at the present. U know, I saw these pwrs. in person and on TV. Again, do I have to force myself to think I am hallucinating, not really. If you take extrapolate these potential human pwrs. to the max then a lot more is possible. A good list of the pwrs. is in Yoga Sutra by Patanjali. Drugs, birth, yoga, or demigod are some sources of these pwrs according to him. Also the 10 heads man. THat is Ravana shape changer. That is just poetry. What could of happened was that he chopped his head of 10 times and put it back on so he is remembered in some history book. One possibility. They not stories, they are historic events, in the Mahabharat, Ramayana etc.... Abrahmic religions are false mythology created from Hinduism, Buddhism etc... Madanmohandas Posted July 13, 2007 Report Share Posted July 13, 2007 It says in the Bhagavat that Kamsa knew the 8th issue of Devaki would kill him, but just to safe he decided to kill all the issue at birth, thinking that Visnu could be anyone of them. There is also the case that the first six embryos were brought from Patala loka to get absolved from some curse. The Visnu Purana states; "It is said that these, to the number of six, where the children of the demon Hiranyakasipu, who were introduced into the womb of Devaki, at the command of Visnu, during the hours of Devaki's repose, by the goddess Yoganidra, Visnu Puran 5.2.29. Also see Bhagavat 10.85.47 - 51. For the more detailed explanation of it. Of course the 7th embryo was Baladeva, but he was transfered to Rohini's womb, and so the 7th was taken by the people as a miscarriage.
