Dear Friend

Namaskar and thank you for your message......sometimes general answers

from those who study dont deal with specifics....and sometimes

different teachers interpret what the Holy Books say in different ways

The interpretation we have always followed is........dont wear the

Rudraksha Mala while eating or handleing non veg food.........take

Mala off while doing this.......and then after you have washed your

hands and brushed your teeth and washed your mouth out with water put

back on

What is not said normally is that those who choose to wear the Holy

Rudraksha will sometimes lose their taste for non veg foods so this is

something you have to consider.......this happens on its own and there

is no trying to it....the wearer simply starts eating a healthier diet

leaning more toward eating fruits and vegetables and rice.....so if

you wish to wear....... simply follow the precautions of takeing mala

off before you eat or handle non veg and then wash hands and mouth out

after you eat and before you place mala on neck.......always with Aum

Namah Sivaya when you place mala on neck and same 5 sylabled Mantra

when you take off from neck

hope this helps

Wishing you and Family the Best
