As ur date of birth is 14 dec 1975, then every year there is transit chart, now you have to see your current transit chart i.e from 14 dec 2005 to 13 dec 2006 and check the position of saturn or shani. If saturn is in 12th house, then your dasha is started. (2.5 yrs) If saturn is in 1st house, then you are in the middle of sani dasa(2.5 yrs.) If saturn is in 2nd house, then your dasa is about to finish. (2.5 yrs.) All the senior members, please correct If I am wrong. Guest guest Posted September 1, 2006 Report Share Posted September 1, 2006 Namaste, To the best of my knowledge I understand that Sani takes 30 years of time to traverse through all the 12 houses in the Zodiac [approximately at the rate of two and half years in each house].The period of Sani’s transit in the 12th, 1st and 2nd houses to the Moon’s Rasi in the Rasi chart is known as the period of ‘Sade Satti’; this period of Sani’s transit approximately [subjective to its periods of retrogations] accounts for 7.5 years.. Classics stress upon natal moon sign to be considered for transits..Sade-Sati is nothing but a period, so it should be checked from the moon sign..However, some people give stress to the Lagna too... Deva Keralam suggests it to be read with Navamsha sign of Moon (for corelation of D9 to bhagya).
