Remedy for marana karaka avastha/sthana? (Su in 12th)

Jyotisha,

 

I have Sun in the 12th House. Any remedies? I cannot travel to the

Jyotirlingam Rameshwaram. Is it sufficient to do japa on "Om Namah

Shivaya Namo Rameshwaraya"?

Dear George,

 

Namaste.

 

The mantra should be of 12 syllables to affect the 12th house. The one you

listed is of 13 syllables. As it is the Sun being in marana karaka sthana,

it is advisable to choose an Aditya mantra. Also fasting on the day of the

lord of the 12th house may help.
