Vegetarian diet gaining ground all over the world as it meant for human beings. With evolution our teeth,our nails, gastrointestinal tract, the acid content of our stomach, the length of our intestines, our temperature controlling centre in the brain are all suggestive that this body is meant ot eat vegetarian food. Non veg cannot be eaten raw by human beings while any vegetarian food can be eaten as it has got its own flavour. Nonveg food is dead food for e.g. but some pieces of meat on the ground and just next to its put some peas, see what happens after 4-5 days. The meat starts to putrefy and smells inviting all ants and other microbes whereas a new plant starts to grow from the peas (live food gives liveliness to human beings not dead food) Like carnivorius animals Non veg food makes a human being Tamasic and Rajasic in nature.

this is untrue - any credentialed anthropologist will clearly state

that the human body evolved as an omnivorous creature

the pH content (1-2) of our stomach is much lower than any ruminant

or strictly "vegetarian" animal (which btw, are more like

insectivores/herbivores, but this point seems to be get lost in the

rush to finesse an argument) - and what else is the stomach, if not a

sac to denature protein???

there other examples in your statement that are equally erroneous,

for e.g., explain to me the purpose of our canine teeth, if we

evolved as vegetarians?

this also untrue

do a little research and you will see that there are many non-veg

foods that are eaten raw all over the world, such as sashimi, kibbeh,

steak tartar, raw egg yolks, carne cruda, vietnamese pho, etc etc -

like eating raw vegetables however, there are certain risks involved,

which is why to be perfectly safe meat intended to be eaten raw

should be deep frozen for at least 2 weeks

 

btw, very few people in india are advised to eat raw vegetables

because of ground water contamination, and most people eat heavily

spiced cooked food

also, apart from nuts/seeds vegetarian protein sources MUST be cooked

in order to make the proteins assimable as well as denature the

numerous anti-nutrient substances like lectins and phytates

take any dense, dead material and leave it on the ground for 4-5 days

and it will attract the decomposing organisms that are specific to

that substrate

however, properly stored meat even without refrigeration (as long as

its not too humid) can be left in it raw state for weeks, as it the

common practice of letting the carcass "hang"

your argument is an aesthetic consideration
