Almost-Severe Constipation

Hello,

I have a case of chronic CXX and not eliminating normally goes on for 2

days. I consistently suffer from fatigue, negative thoughts, low energy

and a bloated belly on an otherwise thin and lean body. I am sure that

the root of all this is that my colon and intestines are are jammed. I

want to treat my CXX.

I have been taking Kayam Churna for 2 months, but unfortunately, the

night I dont take it, I am CXX again. It seems this is case of

dependency now. I tried Isabgol for the first time last night, two

tbsp.. and nothing happened after a full night and half day today. This

leaves me with the option of Triphala.

The question is, just like I had to eat Kayam churna every night, will I

need to take Triphala every night? And is it even advisable to take it,

because I have read that taking purgatives actually weakens the

digestive system. Will Triphala pose these problems? Can it even

cleanse?

Thanks.

Dear Jaspreet ,

No medicine in world can cure the problem of CXX on permanent basis until and unless the patient changes his lifestyle . You observe your lifestyle , change all the unnatural habits , drink plenty of water daily , do regular exercise specially for abdominal area for strengthing the intestines , slowly reduce the laxative / purgative doses , this way you can get rid of your CXX . Remember the body is a GREAT HEALER , if you allow it to do its work , medicines only stimulate the body actions on temporary basis and supresses the body machanism if taken on long term basis.

Hope you will take it seriously if wish to get cured .

Dear Mr. Jaspreet ,

I can understand your seriousness by your reply . From your reply , I

assume you are working with M/s. Morganstanley . Your job might be of

sitting nature most of the time in A/C environment with adequate

occupational stress . The uncertaintity of lunch timing is quite

frequentand also the dinner if you are a bechalor , and if married the

last activity of day is dinner before retiring to bed. You might be

taking tea / coffe very frequently, may be 5 to 7 cups a day. Less

than 2 litres of water a day . Eating out side food quite frequently

which contains mostly fine MAIDA . Taking refrigerated drinks . etc.

etc. etc.

These are my assumptions about your lifestyle , correct me with your

daily routine from wake up to retiring to bed. Then only I can suggest

the required changes .

Hello. Sorry to interrupt. I used to suffer from CXX during my teenage years. Not just CXX but bloody stools were common. But over time with change in eating habits, i am able to control my CXX. Please make sure you include lots of fruits like green apples (granny smith variety, the ones with quite tangy flavour), citrus fruits like orange, mausambi, pulpy fruits like papaya, shakkar teti (don't remember english name of this :-)). Do avoid sugary fruits like banana, mango (though difficult to resist), cheeku, grapes. Avoid dry fruits. Tea and coffee just take when needed rather than when with friends. Totally avoid junk drinks like cola, coke, soda, packaged juices etc. Avoid WHITE BREADS. Avoid fried stuff potatoes etc. I am sure healthy eating will show you results in few days, and you will feel much better. I am writing from my self experience rather than learned stuff. Eat green vegetables and few chapatis. No rice. Hope this will help you as much as it helped me.
