Hare Krishna,

We do believe in Diksya Guru, but we believe that Siksa is more important.

That is why Brahma Madhva Gaudiya Sampradaya is called Siksa Parampara.

For example..

One disicple has a Diksya Guru, and also may have a Guru who is Siksa Guru. So normally the Diksya Guru will provide both. Sometimes the diksya Guru may not be so qualified. So then the person takes shelter of Siksa Guru. This is reffered to as Divya-jnana (spiritual initiation by Siksa). Because Siksa and Diksya are the same, (GURUS). It is bona-fide.

when some soul accepts sad guru in the heart.

Devotee should know what is the real "conception"(sattvika vicar") of parampara.

He accepts sad-guru(bonafide one),and starts Bhajana-kriya=Praktical devotional service under the guidance of sad guru and pure vaisnavas.then only can follow Anartha-nivrithi=Cleaning of unwanted habits.

After purifiying oneself (generaly takes longer time)comes:

Nishta=steadiness

Ruci=real taste,

Asakthi=Atachment for the ones ishthadev and everything related to Him.

Bhava=avakening of Spiritual emotins

Prema =Pure love of Godhead. Goooooouuuuraaannggaa!!!

Yours, Dasaanudas

No diksya is given as mercy. If we were totally surrendred then we would not be here.

Yes, that is what I am trying to understand Pankajji...... may be not as a mercy but seeing total surrendering of one self as complete faith and devotion for Lord Shri Raam - Lord Krishna ....and giving the diksya.

But that is not what I asked.....I asked about the authenticity of a Siksa guru...If u could pls tell.....
