Guest guest
dear all, guru chandala yoga is the conjuction of guru and rahu in the horoscope, resulting in the affliction of the Jupiter. While Manik chand jain has a different opinion about this combination in his book "rahu ketu", certainly it is not a very likeable conjunction. ( I am not posting MCJ's view here as I am not supporting the same) As we know,Jupiter has special aspects, at the 5th,7th(normal) and 9th houses. Usually, it is said no matter how malefic Jupiter is , his aspects bestow auspiciousness or improves the bhava he is aspecting. But interestingly, when rahu is conjuct with jupiter, it is said that rahu also acquires these special aspects and he ends up neutralizing these benevolent effects of Jupiter's aspects. Lalkitab talks about the effect of this combination resulting in the ineffectiveness of Mercury. On the other hand, it also says this combination gives useless reputation (that is to say you will be famous in a positive way but that popularity will not help you anyway) The best examples of such popularity not helping the native can be often found in the post masters or the poojaries of the village. The entire village turns to them for help one way or other, no work is done without their advise but yet, often these people used to suffer from poverty and I personally know people who suffered in settling their children either in careers or in marriage. in other words, their popularity in the village does not come handy for their prosperity or to get their own work done. I will post more once I hear from the group on the subject. I am sure Pundits like Dakshinamoorthyji have a lot to contribute on the issue. Guest guest
Namaskars to everyone! The native I am referring to has Guru-chandala yoga in her 11th house , it being Taurus. Incidentally the native has her 5th and 7th house heavily afflicted. So in any case the 7th and the 9th from the Guru are afflicted. But it is also said that Rahu in the 11th is not ill posited ( not sure!) Will Rahu become stronger( when considered so in light of the view that Rahu is not ill disposed in the 11th) and so more malefic? Interestingly the Rahu dasha was good for the native, in fact better than the Guru dasha which has followed it. In what ways will the Guru-Chandala yoga work for the native? Guest guest
Saadar pranaam to all Gurus and seniors, Yes, I personally know a native who has this combination of jupiter and rahu, however this is in his 10th house,Saggitarius, alongwith Sun and Mercury.Jupiter and Rahu are within two degrees of each other. Thus the native also has hamsa yoga and the benefit of Sun in the house of Karma. The native has achieved a good position in his career but he is always unsatisfied and feels he is stuck . Another interesting combination in this horoscope is Mars-Venus-Moon in Scorpio,Bhagyasthan,-Neechabhanga of moon. Gurujis and learned members could throw light on this combination, thedetails are as below: 2nd Jan,1973,lon.79E02' ,lat.26N46' at 11.25 a.m. humbly, bindiya. Guest guest
Dear , What I understand from Guru-Rahu combination is that it makes the native think unconventionally. He/she may not accept the traditions by the face value without questioning and satified with the answers. Hence, he/she may not respect some traditions that does not make logical sense (from his/her point of view). His/her uncoventional thinking would result in rising to higher levels faster than others or it could make them law breakers as some of the laws may not make sense to them. Hence, the rest of the horoscope will have a bearing on whether they rise in positive space or negative space. Some of the famous people who have this Guru-Rahu conjunction are: - Christopher Columbus - Charles Sobhraj - Jo Jo Starbuck - Madonna - Micheal Jackson And, a similar effect is seen in charts where Guru and Rahu aspect each other. They are again unconventional thinkers and naturally we can find such combination in the charts of researchers, scientists and people with unique approach in what they do. Some of such people are: - Pierre Curie - Mary Curie - Louis Pasteur - JRD Tata - Srinivasa Ramanujan - J Krishnamurthy - Alexander Graham Bell - Marilyn Monroe - Nathuram Ghodse - Alexander The Great - Winston Churchill - J F Kennedy - Jawaharlal Nehru - Srila Prabhupada Hence, Guru-Rahu combintion which is infamously known as Guru-Chandala Yoga, need not necessarily be bad. It should be looked at with the rest of the horoscope as background. Guest guest
Please let me know birth details of your father if his TOB is reliable. Also give: 1) Timings when he had risen from ashes thrice in his life to great heights. 2) Brief description about his education, profession and achievements. 3) Source of TOB. 4) Margin of error possible in TOB. 5) If TOB is correct upto minute, some details of parents. Guest guest
Jup and Rahu are slow moving planets. When they conjoin, they may be in this situation for a long time. They may be in the same Rasi even for one year. Does it appeal to common sense that this single feature will give rise to some common characteristics ? Then can it be applied literally ? Lagna is most important, always. In the chart given, life trends are well explained. It is dasa of 8th lord, hence some frustration. Jup-Rahu here make him a good man with somewhat modern outlook and some ego. Chara dasa is of Leo (2003-2011) when he will make steady progress and will make his own house too. Guest guest
Dear friend, Guru is symbol for two things viz; Jeeva(living being) and Yasha( fame). Chandala= is unsocial or what is against the law of nature; not helpful to the course of nature Generally= gives bad reputation owing to the subject matter indicated by the house indicated by the stellar dispositor of Rahu. If the stellar dispositor of Rahu is in 2,6,10 = problem may be financial, 1,4= problem may be land/ family, 5,7 = relationship and so on. with regards, Mrutyunjay Messenger with Voice.
